I want to watch only 1 or 2 videos in a series. Can I purchase these videos without watching the entire series?
Yes! Absolutely. We are dedicated to allowing you to tailor your training to your specific needs. There are a few exceptions to this, but the only exceptions are for videos in which you need to take a particular video first in order to understand the second. For example, in the Building Independence training series, training video 7 teaches you to understand your learner’s specific needs, and video 8 teaches you how to help your learner grow in these areas.
Are parent training videos reimbursable with my Health Savings Account (HSA)?
Check with your HSA representative. However, because training videos are considered EDUCATIONAL rather than CLINICAL, they likely will not qualify.
I am a parent and want help specifically with my child. Do you provide ABA therapy?
ABA IRL provides only on-demand parent training videos and coaching at this time. If you are looking for a comprehensive ABA program, contact your insurance provider for a list of ABA providers.
Professional Support FAQs
How do I ensure I get my CEUs after completing my videos?
Please follow the instructions on the videos. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is very particular about what qualifies as a CEU and what does not. They also want to make sure we verify attendance. Because these videos are asynchronous, this is done through verification and knowledge checks. Please also make sure you enter the correct name, email, and certification number when you register!
Can I take a training even if I am not certified with the BACB?
Check with your HSA representative. However, because training videos are considered EDUCATIONAL rather than CLINICAL, they likely will not qualify.
How do I know if I need PDUs?
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who have certified or recertified in 2026 must have PDUs when they recertify in 2028. Please refer the the BACB website for more information! BACB.com
If my company offers PDUs, do I need them with ABA In Real Life?
It depends. If they offer enough per year so you easily meet the requirement, you do not need PDUs from other sources. However, if your company does not provide them, if they do not provide enough, or if the time of day they are offered does not work for your schedule, we’ve got your back! Regardless, we believe continuing education is highly beneficial, whether it is required or not!

Do you only provide workshops for ABA professionals?
Depending on the topic, we can work with anyone willing to listen in the organization, including the non-behavior analytic, administrative or leadership staff. We can answer more detailed questions during the consult.
What are the pros and cons of in-person vs online workshops?
The pros of online workshops are the cost and convenience. It is a time-saver, but not the best format for certain topics. The pros of in-person workshops are that this format allows for a higher level of participant engagement.
What is the cost of in-person vs online workshops?
Online training rates will be more affordable, as travel will not be involved. In-person training rates will vary based on the length of travel and the length of the workshop. Training rates will also vary based on the length of the workshop and the level of individualization your business is requesting. Who is a good fit for coaching?
ABA IRL has the background experience and education to coach ABA professionals, business leaders, and administrators.
Are coaching sessions online?
Yes, most coaching sessions will be online. However, if you have a different request, this can be discussed during the consultation meeting and we will let you know if we are able to accommodate you.
Is there a standard fee for coaching sessions?
Yes, Coaching sessions fees are offered at a standard hourly rate. If your business requests in-person support, this fee will vary depending on time and travel.
Business Support: Licensing FAQs
How long do group access licenses last?
This is flexible. Licenses can vary from 1 month to 1 year!
What if I have a small company? Will I have to pay the same amount as a large business?
Nope! The license cost is based on the number of licenses you are requesting, the type of licenses you are looking to purchase, and the length of time you are requesting access to them.
My staff need CEUs and PDUs. Will they be given access to certificates?
Yes! When you register for the licenses, your team members will login with a specific code you will provide to them. They will then enter their name and BACB-issued certification number so that certificates can be generated for them upon completion of the training they attend. They must attend, correctly answer knowledge check questions, and fill out an evaluation form in order to receive their certificate (per BACB regulations).
